Description
The WKW Tor is an anti-materiel and sniper rifle produced in Poland by Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów. Development of the rifle occurred between 2000 and 2004. Initially known as Wilk, the rifle was designated Tor after development was complete.
The WKW Tor employs a manually operated rotary bolt action within a bull-pup layout and is fed from detachable box magazines. The rifle is fitted with a folding and adjustable bipod and an adjustable rear monopod. Standard sighting equipment consists of a Schmidt & Bender X3−12 P/MII telescope sight, mounted on Picatinny rails located above the receiver.
The first units were received by the Polish army around 2005.
