Description
The RPA Rangemaster series of bolt-action rifles is produced by the British company RPA International, formerly known as RPA Precision Ltd. The company initially focused on target rifles before entering the tactical rifle market in 2001 with the introduction of the Rangemaster 7.62, chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO. The Rangemaster .50, a long-range anti-materiel rifle in 12.7 × 99mm NATO, was subsequently released in 2005 as part of the expanded series.
The Rangemaster .50 is a bolt-action rifle chambered for 12.7 × 99mm NATO (also known as .50 BMG). According to the manufacturer, rifles in the Rangemaster series are capable of achieving sub-MOA accuracy when using appropriate ammunition.
The Rangemaster series includes several variants beyond the initial 7.62 model and the Rangemaster .50, such as the Rangemaster 338, chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum, which was introduced in 2004, alongside the Rangemaster 7.62 Standby, a subsonic short-range variant in 7.62 NATO, and the Rangemaster .50, in 12.7 × 99mm NATO, which was introduced in 2005.
