Description
The GOL-Sniper Magnum is a bolt-action sniper rifle developed by the German company Gol-Matic GmbH. The rifle is based on custom Magnum Mauser actions manufactured by Prechtl Waffen and its design traces back to the Mauser M98 Magnum system. It was designed by German gunsmith Gottfried Prechtl.
The design utilizes a bolt-action system based on the Mauser M98 Magnum. The rifle features a Sto-Con walnut stock fitted with a Lothar Walther precision barrel and a Mauser bolt. The walnut stock increases flexibility in the rifle butt, which contributes to reducing recoil and enhancing precision.
The GOL-Sniper rifle is available in tactical, sporting, and match versions. Each rifle is custom made according to individual customer requirements, resulting in a broad range of potential options and configurations.
The GOL-Sniper is used by several police units within Germany and is also in service with the Lithuanian Armed Forces.
