Description
There are 4 variants of the Yak-28: the "Brewer", an attack version; the Yak-28P "Firebar", an all-weather interceptor; the Yak-28R, designed for reconnaissance; and the Yak-28U "Maestro", a training version.
Although the Yak-28's flight performance is not as high as that of the MiG-25, it can reach Mach 1 above 3970 m. Additionally, its range surpasses that of many interceptors. Over 300 units were produced.
